Ronald W. Serafin Sr., 76, of Lower Saucon Township, and formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Caroline A. (Serpe) Serafin. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Aug. 12, 1936 to the late Stanley and Pauline H. (Leoniak) Serafin. Ronald worked as an Office Manager for many trucking companies until retiring in 1990. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Colesville (Bethlehem).
In addition to his loving wife of 52 years; son: Ronald W. II and his wife Sandra of Lower Saucon Township; grandson: Anthony W. He was predeceased by a brother: Norman.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10am Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem. The interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. The celebrant will be the Rev. Msgr. Nevin J. Klinger.
