Obituary: Robert L. Stahler, 76, of Quakertown

Robert L. Stahler, 76, of Quakertown, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at Quakertown Center. He was the husband of Marjorie A. (Weiss) Stahler. He was born in Bethlehem on Aug. 9, 1936 to the late Edgar Stahler and Queena (Rumfield) Weaver. He was a fitter at Bethlehem Steel and FM Weaver Fabricating in Lansdale. Robert was a life member of Coopersburg Fire Co. and Ridge and Valley Gun Club.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving wife of 31 years last July; son: Richard D. and his companion Carmen Rivera of Hereford; stepson: Michael D. Erdman and his wife Donna of Coopersburg; son-in-law: Adam Ankle of New Tripoli; brother: Dale E. Stahler and his wife Kathy of Quakertown; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter: Diane Ankle; siblings: Betty Jane Amey, Barry Lee Stahler; and stepdaughter: Tawnee Erdman.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 11am to noon, Monday, Nov. 12 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at noon.
