Obituary: Pauline E. (Leith) Holum, 97, Formerly of Lower Saucon

Pauline E. (Leith) Holum, 97, formerly of Lower Saucon Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012 at Moravian Village, Bethlehem, surrounded by loved ones. She was the wife of the late Glenn Holum, who died Oct. 13, 1977. She was born in Lower Saucon Township on Oct. 17, 1915. She was the daughter and last remaining Leith in the family of Lower Saucon farmer, the late Elmer C. and Minnie (Mindler) Leith. She was a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township.

SURVIVORS

Sons: Ronald A., Gerald E. and his wife Joanne B. all of Lower Saucon Township; grandsons: Dean and his wife Cylinda of Hellertown and Marc of Colorado Springs, Co.; four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by nephew: Howard Weaver; and niece: Barbara Hetrick. She was predeceased by Nelson Weaver, who she raised, and by 14 siblings. 

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11am Saturday, Nov. 24, 2012 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11am, with the Reverend Tricia A. McMackin officiating. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
