Obituary: Mary D. Szvetecz, 92, of Hellertown

Mary D. Szvetecz, 92, of Hellertown, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of Charles F. Szvetecz. She was born in Northampton on Oct. 10, 1920 to the late Conrad and Mary Dranchak. Mary was a faithful member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown, where she was a member of the choir and the Guild. She had a beautiful soprano singing voice, was an inspired gardener, and delighted her friends and family with wonderful baked goods. She was very well loved.

In addition to her loving husband of 64 years; daughters: Mary at home and Margaret of Magnolia, N.J. 

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10am Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013 at the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
