Obituary: Linda Seibel Hancock, 55, of Lower Saucon

Linda Seibel Hancock, 55, of Lower Saucon Township, passed away on May 7, 2012.

Linda Seibel Hancock, 55, of Lower Saucon Township, and formerly of Leland and Littleton, N.C., passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 in her residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Princeton, N.J. on Oct. 5, 1956 to Jean (Mather) Seibel of Bethlehem and Dean W. Seibel of Littleton, N.C. She was the wife of the late Victor Allen Hancock Jr., who died Jan. 2, 2010. Linda was a 1975 graduate of South Hunterdon Regional High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University in 1979. After graduation, Linda worked for Fannie Mae in the Commercial Real Estate Department and later in the home construction and trucking industry with her husband. She enjoyed raising and breeding Yorkshire Terriers, riding horses, the beach, needlework, and was an avid supporter of . Linda was a devoted and loving aunt to her two nieces, Liz and Catie Seibel.

Survivors:

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, Geoffrey C. Seibel and his wife BethAnn (Transue) of Hellertown and their children, Elizabeth and Catherine. Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Steven M. Seibel, who passed away in 2000. She is also survived by stepson Thomas Hancock and his wife Mandy, and their daughter, Allainah, and stepson Joshua Hancock and his wife Ashley, and their sons Chandler, Conner and Cyler, all of Leland, N.C.

Services:

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2pm at , 331 Constitution Ave., Hellertown, 18055. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the , Hellertown.
