Obituary: Harry C. Kline, 81, of Bethlehem Township

Harry C. Kline, 81, died Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church in Hellertown.

Harry C. Kline, 81, of Bethlehem Township, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was the husband of Ruth I. (Berger) Kline. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in 2011. He was born in Nesquehoning on Feb. 27, 1931 to the late Harry F. and Helen (Bamford) Kline. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a band director at Easton Area High School and Perkiomen Valley High School for many years until his retirement. He was a salesman for Lehigh Valley Honda in his later years. He was a member of , Hellertown, and the Howard L. Peter American Legion Post, Allentown, and was the PA State Coordinator for American Youth Symphony and Chorus. He was a wonderful and loving husband and father who will be sorely missed by his family.

Survivors:

In addition to his wife; children: Debra A. (James) Casson of Vineland, N.J., Marci R. Kline of Reading, Kathi A. Kline of Allentown, and Wendy J. (Thomas) Soto of Wescosville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Elwood Kline.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 to 10am Friday, March 9, 2012 at St. George's Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Ave., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10am. The interment will conclude services at Skyview Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
