Obituary: Gerald W. Stoneback, 87, of Lower Saucon

Gerald W. Stoneback, 87, of Lower Saucon Township, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of the late Esther A. (Radermacher) Stoneback. He was born in Hellertown on March 28, 1925 to the late Wilson and Anna (Wismer) Stoneback. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army 309th Infantry Regiment during the Korean War. Gerald was a cabinet maker at the former Bethlehem Steel for many years until his retirement. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown. 

SURVIVORS

Loving son: Lance K. and his wife Donna, with whom he resided; grandchildren: Randal, Tony, Kerry and Holly; great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Olivia and Madaline; siblings: Joel and his wife Mary of Lower Saucon Township, Ronald of Lower Saucon Township, and Doris Gross of Bethlehem. 

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 8:30pm Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The service will be at 10:30am Thursday, Dec. 27 at the funeral home. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
