Obituary: Faye E. Wenhold, 90, of Bingen

Faye E. Wenhold, 90, of Bingen, Lower Saucon Township, died Friday, June 22, 2012.

Faye E. Wenhold, 90, of Bingen, Lower Saucon Township, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at her home. She was the widow of Charles J. Wenhold (who died March 20, 2003). She was born in Madrid, Neb. on Dec. 8, 1921 to the late James A. Stewart and Florence B. (Gregory) Stewart. She was an inspector for the former Champion Spark Plug, Hellertown for 26 years until retiring in 1981. Faye worked for the Burlington Railroad for four years during WWII as a telegrapher and train operator in Wyoming, and she taught school for one year in Nebraska. She attended , Bingen, and God's Missionary Church in Coopersburg.

Survivors:

Son: Jacob P. of Zionsville; one granddaughter; two great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings: Irene, Helen, Doris MC Pezoldt and Dorothea T. Kauffman.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10am Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the , 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10am. The interment will conclude services at Springfield Church of the Brethren, Springfield Township.
