Obituary: Evelyn H. Folenta, 86, Formerly of Hellertown

Evelyn H. Folenta, 86, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012 at Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Andrew M. Folenta, who passed away on July 25, 1998. She was born in Hellertown on July 30, 1926 to the late J. Milton and Viola (LaBarr) Fluck. She worked for the former W.T. Grants, Hellertown as a sales clerk and previously worked at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. Evelyn was a member of and was a quilter at the church. She enjoyed her family and friends, bowling, playing cards and quilting. 

Survivors:

Loving sons: Gregory M. and his wife Marcia A. of Greentown, David J. and his wife Kathleen M; grandchildren: James and his wife Lori, Emily, and Matthew Folenta; great-grandchildren: Andrew "AJ" and James Jr. She was predeceased by daughter Karen J. in 1970.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11am Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 at the Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11am with the Rev. Philip C. Spohn officiating. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
