Douglas W. King, 61, of Hellertown, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at Gracedale in Upper Nazareth Township.

Douglas W. King, 61, of Hellertown, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at Gracedale in Upper Nazareth Township. He was the husband of Marie T. (Barron) King. He was born in Fountain Hill on Aug. 14, 1950 to the late Anna C. (Unangst) Wolst and Lester W. King. Doug worked at Bethlehem Steel, retiring in 1995 from the Rolling Mills. He was a member of the , Hellertown; the NRA; the Hellertown Sportsman's Association; a Lehigh Valley Radio Control and Ham Radio Operator (N3-TME); and was an avid fisherman. 

Survivors:

In addition to his loving wife of 22 years; children: Marlene (Erik) Taenzer of Tannersville, Denise DiGloria of Gouldsboro, William Sinwell of Bethlehem, SherriJo Kelly of Hatfield; siblings: Diane R. Krchnavy of Walnutport, Jeffrey D. King (Brenda) of Hellertown; eight grandchildren: Kenny, Ashley, Mariah, Joshua, Steven, Kaylee, Ryan, Skyler; two great-grandchildren: Autumn, Steven III. He was predeceased by a son: Michael Thomas Kelly.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 7:30pm Sunday, April 1, 2012 at the , 326 Main St., Hellertown. The service will be at 10am Monday, April 2, at the funeral home and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at the church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown.
