Obituary: Beatrice L. Wiedl, 100, of Lower Saucon

Beatrice L. Wiedl, 100, of Lower Saucon Township died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at Alexandria Manor, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late John C. Wiedl. She was born in Fountain Hill on Aug. 9, 1912 to the late George and Mary (Wagner) Lagleter. Beatrice was a faithful member of Friedensville Evangelical Lutheran Church, Center Valley, where she was involved with the Quilters and a Sunday School teacher.

Survivors:

Loving daughter: Jean E. wife of David C. Ruhf of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Christopher D. Ruhf and his wife Michelle, Jonathan C. Ruhf; great-grandchildren: Bryant C. and Julia M. Ruhf. 

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11am Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at Friedensville Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2451 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11am. The interment will conclude services at Friedensville Cemetery, Upper Saucon Township.
