Obituary: Arnold W. Blackshaw, 99, of Hellertown

Arnold W. Blackshaw, 99, of Hellertown, formerly of Chicago, Ill., Barrington, Ill. and Bradenton, Fla., died Monday, March 5, 2012 at St. Luke's University Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Mildred K. (Korth) Blackshaw. He was born in Chicago on Oct. 8, 1912 to the late Thomas and Elsie (Wignall) Blackshaw. Arnold was employed at Parker Hannifin Corp., Des Plaines, Ill. as a division sales manager for 27 years. Prior employment was for the United States Corps of Engineers from 1942 to 1944.

Survivors:

In addition to his loving wife; grandchildren: Ellen F., wife of Paul W. McManus, and Thomas B. Beckwith; great-grandchildren: Cooper, Hatcher, Tatum and Parker; son-in-law: Bruce C. Swan of Hellertown. He was predeceased by their daughter, Carol B. Swan.
