Nancy A. Mowrey, 78, Teller at Former Meridian Bank [Obituary]

Nancy A. Mowrey, 78, of Lower Saucon Township died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

Nancy A. Mowrey, 78, of Lower Saucon Township died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Milton "Jake" M. Mowrey, who died May 3, 1993. She was born in Fountain Hill on June 5, 1935 to the late Charles M. and Edith L. (Ruth) Cawley. Nancy was a bank teller at the former Meridian Bank, Hellertown for many years until retiring. She was a member of the Spring Valley Sportsman's Club Ladies Auxiliary, the Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397 Ladies Auxiliary, and a life member of the Beethoven Waldheim. She was a supporter of Moravian softball, a Penn State football fan and a Saucon Valley High School softball and field hockey fan. 

SURVIVORS

Loving children: Craig L. (Elizabeth) Mowrey, Keith A. Mowrey all of Hellertown, Kay A. wife of Michael J. Campanella of Bethlehem Township; siblings: Lorrain L. (Kathryn), Roland D. (Elaine) all of Hellertown; John H. of Riegelsville, Wayne D. (Mary Lou) of North East, Lynette R. Yingling of Richmond, Va.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson: Craig L. Mowrey Jr.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The interment will be held at the convenience of the family. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
