Leslie C. Keiser, 70, Devoted Life to U.S. Military [Obituary]

Leslie C. Keiser, 70, of Hellertown, formerly of Quakertown, died Dec. 19, 2013 at his home.

Leslie C. Keiser, 70, of Hellertown, formerly of Quakertown, died Dec. 19, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Frances M.A. (Drust) Keiser. He was born in Wilson on Feb. 28, 1943. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force during the Gulf and Vietnam wars. Leslie devoted his life to the U.S. military, serving for more than 31 years until his retirement in 2003. He also worked for Quakertown Borough Water Authority for 30 years as a water systems operator, retiring in 2012. He had also volunteered at West End and Haycock Fire companies.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving wife of 47 years; children: Steven C. (Kristin), Kristine L. Bauer, Kimberly A. (Christopher) Mora, twin brother: Robert (Dee) Keiser; five grandchildren.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown, with military honors.
