Jeanette F. Kichline Shanda, 86, Formerly of Williams [Obituary]

Jeanette F. Kichline Shanda, 86, formerly of Williams Township, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Manor Care, Palmer Township. She was the wife of the late Roy W. Kichline Sr. and the late Joseph Shanda. She was born in Fountain Hill on July 3, 1927 to the late Wallace C. and Julia R. (Bryfogle) Yeakel. She was a member of St. Luke’s Old Williams Lutheran Church, Hellertown.

SURVIVORS

Children: Louis S. Woodginske, Roy W. Kichline Jr. of Williams Township, Carol V. Mest of Lincoln, Neb., Joanie L. wife of Michael C. Premich of Orwigsburg, Betty A. wife of Richard R. Everitt of Raubsville; siblings: Evelyn M. Sesulka of Steel City, Joyce H. Reph of Bethlehem Township; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by siblings: Richard W. and Stewart W. Yeakel, Geraldine V. "Dolly" Horvath.             

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m., with the Rev.
