Frances J. (Malozzi) Salgado, 83, Formerly of Bethlehem [Obituary]

Frances J. (Malozzi) Salgado, 83, formerly of Bethlehem, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Raymond M. Salgado (died April 24, 2004). She was born in Bethlehem on May 16, 1929 to the late Joseph and Catherine (Malagiese) Malozzi. Frances was a member of Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown. She previously worked at Zawick Manufacturing, Hellertown and B. Braun, Bethlehem. Frances enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

SURVIVORS

Children: Raymond M. Jr. and his wife Lorraine M., Sandra L. wife of Rodney C. LaBar, all of Hellertown; Catherine A. wife of Dr. Edward A. Vollbrecht of Harrisburg; sister: Rose Grether of Argentina; four grandchildren: Christopher J. McCaughin, Jason M. Salgado, Scott B. Salgado and Matthew C. Volbrecht; four great-grandchildren: Logan, Anthony, Carson and Kylee Alexa. She was predeceased by nine siblings.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11am Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
