Edward S. "Zeke" Kozlowski, 87, of Hellertown, died peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Irene R. (Hacker) Kozlowski. He was born in Fountain Hill on July 2, 1926 to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Seliga) Kozlowski. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War as a diesel mechanic on the USS Medusa and the USS Shadwell battleships. Edward was a machinist at Bethlehem Steel in the #2 Machine Shop for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397, Hellertown. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
In addition to his wife of 63 years; daughter: Susan G. Koehler of Bethlehem; sister: Betty Nastasee of Hellertown; grandchildren: Ashley C. and Matthew A.; great-granddaughter: Aubrey L. Pupa. He was predeceased by a granddaughter: Robyn Lynn; and siblings: Joseph, Stanley, Anna Guro, Helen Kozlowski.
