Dorothy D. Gerencher, 91, of Hellertown, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at her residence.
Dorothy D. Gerencher, 91, of Hellertown, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of Geza F. Gerencher. She was born in Bethlehem on April 27, 1922 to the late Anthony S. and Anna (Wrabel) Yagiello. She worked as a seamstress at the former Laris Silk Mill, Bethlehem, for 15 years and at Macy's in California for two years, where she was named Queen of the Month. She was a member of the former St. John's Capistrano Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to her loving husband of 70 years; sister: Lillian L. wife of Paul Skibo of Hellertown; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie A. Stech.

SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
