Dorothy A. (Cressman) Showers, 82, of Upper Saucon [OBITUARY]

Dorothy A. (Cressman) Showers, 82, of Upper Saucon Township, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Valley Manor Nursing & Rehab, Springfield Township. She was the wife of the late Bernard E. Showers (died April 12, 2003) and the late Charles Osvatics. She was born in Richlandtown on Dec. 8, 1930 to the late Leo and Elizabeth (Nonnemaker) Cressman. Dorothy had worked at the former Hellertown Manufacturing for 30 years as an assembler until retiring. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Coopersburg, Springfield Historical Society, Coopersburg Historical Society, and treasurer of the Cressman Family Association.

SURVIVORS

Sister: Lorraine M. wife of John Munsch of Coopersburg; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers: Harold, Donald and Ronald Cressman.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11am Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11am.
