Christine Iobst, 48, Was a Successful Real Estate Agent [Obituary]

Christine Iobst, 48, of Hellertown, was welcomed into the arms of her savior Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, on the anniversary of her birthday, at St. Luke's Hospice House in Saucon Valley.

Christine Iobst, 48, of Hellertown, was welcomed into the arms of her savior Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, on the anniversary of her birthday, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Saucon Valley. She was the wife of Mark D. Iobst. They were married 21 years last June. She was the mother of Abigayle Iobst, a senior at Saucon Valley High School. She was born in Allentown, and was the daughter of Domineck and Lucy (Hand) Aliquo. An Allen High School graduate, she further studied culinary arts and real estate. She was a real estate agent for more than 15 years and was a successful agent at Re/Max Central in Coopersburg. She was an active member and sacristan of the Emmaus Moravian Church. A devoted wife and loving mother, she enjoyed her zeal for life with many friends and her large family.

Survivors: 
Husband; daughter, Abigayle R. of Hellertown; her parents; sisters, Pam wife of Rick Morrissey and their daughter Caitlyn, Karen wife of Tim Hannon and their daughter Emily, and Denise wife of Jim Rich and their children Rachel and Aaron.

Services:
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Emmaus Moravian Church, Main Street and Keystone Avenue, Emmaus. Interment will follow in Emmaus Moravian Cemetery. Family and friends may call Friday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the church. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.schantzfh.com.
