Charles F. Szvetecz, 91, of Hellertown [Obituary]

Charles F. Szvetecz died Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

Charles F. Szvetecz, 91, of Hellertown, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of Mary D. Szvetecz, who passed away on Feb. 1, 2013. Born in Bethlehem on March 5, 1922 to the late Charles and Theresa Szvetecz, Charles served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during peacetime (1946). He was an industrial engineer at Mack Trucks, Allentown for many years until retiring. He was a faithful member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown, where he served on its choir and built the St. Theresa's Shrine in the church. Charles delighted in his family and his home. He exceled at woodworking and built beautiful furniture for his family.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2013, at the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
