Catherine J. Chavar, 83, Former Real Estate Agent [Obituary]

Catherine J. Chavar, 83, of Bethlehem, died Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of Anthony E. Chavar Jr. She was born in Lower Saucon Township on May 22, 1930 to the late John and Helen (Hulak) Ungiran. Catherine was a real estate agent in the Lehigh Valley area with several accolades of service, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown, and its guild, as well as the Southeastern Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her loving husband of 62 years last Sept. 29; children: Michael A. of Quakertown, Carol A. Molinaro and Julius C. Quartapella of Center Valley; brothers: Thomas Ungiran of Wassergass, David Ungiran and his wife Crystale of Upper Mount Bethel Township; grandsons: Steven and Jason Molinaro. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law: Shirley Ungiran.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Theresa’s, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
