Anna P. Sarson, 100, Worked at Just Born [Obituary]

Anna P. Sarson, 100, of Fountain Hill, formerly of Spring Street, Bethlehem, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 at Cedarbrook, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Sarson Sr., who died May 23, 2002. She was born Aug. 11, 1913 to the late Kazmir and Caroline (Gerlach) Gonia. She worked at Just Born, Bethlehem in the shipping department for 10 years until retiring, and previously at a cigar factory in Bethlehem. Anna was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

SURVIVORS

Children: Dorothy M. Petrokovich of Northampton, JoAnne Miller of Bethlehem, Barbara A. wife of Carl F. Holley of Bethlehem, Kenneth W. Jr. and his wife LeAnn of Bethlehem, Ronald J. of Effort; sister: Sophie Bachi of Detroit, Mich.; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Geraldine Perry, who died May 24, 2013.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
