Allen H. Diehl, 88, Former Faith UCC Sexton [Obituary]

Allen H. Diehl, 88, of Coopersburg, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Carol M. (Bruch) Diehl. He was born in Towamensing Township on Dec. 3, 1925 to the late Raymond A. and Olive E. (Greene) Diehl. Allen worked at the former Bethlehem Steel in industrial engineering for 32 years until his retirement in 1983. He was a member and past sexton of Faith United Church of Christ, Center Valley, and a former sexton of St. John's UCC, Coopersburg. 

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving wife of 60 years; children: Linda M. Diehl of Hellertown, Robin E. (Price Robert) Davis of Coopersburg, Edward A. (Paula) Diehl of Upper Milford Township; siblings: Eleanor (Robert) Yeakel of Red Lion, Mildred (Rodney) Yeakel of Coopersburg; and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother: Wayne Thomas Diehl.

SERVICE

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013 at Friedensville Cemetery, Upper Saucon Township. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.
