First Months of Preschool Filled with Learning and Fun

The children and teachers of the New Jerusalem Preschool have been very busy since our first day of school in September. We have taken our field trips to Trauger's Farm Market in Kintnersville for our annual wagon ride through their fields to learn about all the crops they grow and sell, then enjoying their homegrown popcorn and homemade apple cider afterwards.
We have been introducing shapes and colors to our three year old class, while creating crafts and understanding how to socialize and play with their new friends.  We have morning and afternoon pre-k classes which have been learning about numbers, counting, opposites, and practicing writing their first names. They are starting their journey through the alphabet this week with the letter "Tt".
All classes celebrated last week at our Fall-O-Ween parties by wearing their costumes to school, playing games, receiving treats, and enjoying awesome snacks!
Now it's time for us to get ready for Thanksgiving. We will be making turkey and Native American crafts to decorate our classroom and hallway. We will also be making our homemade applesauce and pumpkin bread for our Harvest Feast.
All of our classes have room to welcome new friends. If you or anyone you know is looking for a preschool, please feel free to pass along our name.  We can also be found on Facebook under New Jerusalem Preschool and on our church's website at http://newjerusalemchurchsv.org/Preschool.php
