Preschoolers Visit Animal Shelter, Celebrate St. Patrick's Day
The week leading up to St. Patrick's Day was a busy one at New Jerusalem Preschool in Lower Saucon Township.
Our classroom at New Jerusalem Preschool has been busy, busy, busy! We recently had our first field trip to in Easton to visit the animals that are there for adoption. We've been teaching the children about taking care of our own pets, and what it means to be a volunteer to help others. Our wonderful preschool families have gathered donations of cat and dog food, cat litter, treats, cleaners, and more to bring to the shelter. Feel free to visit the shelter's website at www.healthyanimalcenter.org
We also had our St. Patrick's Day party on Friday. There was green everywhere! In addition to our regular class, we enjoyed a special snack, made a delicious craft, and Lucky the Leprechaun hid clues around the building. The children followed tiny green footprints to the rainbow and the pot of gold!
Wishing a wonderful week to everyone.... Spring is definitely in the air!!
