Author's Local History Book on Sale
Lee Weidner, who has written extensively about the history of the Saucon Valley, has announced that copies of his book "Saucon Secrets, Vol. 2" are on sale for $30 through the end of the year.
If you're looking to get a jump start on holiday shopping for friends and family who hold dear memories of Hellertown, you may want to consider buying a copy of a local history book that's now on sale.
Lee Weidner, a frequent Hellertown-Lower Saucon Patch contributor and well-known local history author, has announced that copies of his latest book, "Saucon Secrets, Volume 2," are being discounted 25 percent through the end of the year.
The hardbound book, which was published earlier this year and normally sells for $40, is now available for purchase for $30, Weidner said.
The book contains dozens of essays about life in the Saucon Valley in days gone by, along with numerous illustrations and old photographs.
