The Boy Scouts Want Your Christmas Trees
To assist residents who need help with tree disposal, local Boy Scout Troop 416 is planning two curbside pickup dates—Jan. 11 and Jan. 18—in Hellertown and select sections of Lower Saucon Township.
Are you starting to think about what to do with your old Christmas tree, now that the holidays are nearly over?
Christmas trees can be dropped off at the Saucon Valley Compost Center on Saturdays in January, but transporting the tree in your car could make a mess.
To assist residents who need help with tree disposal, local Boy Scout Troop 416 is planning two curbside pickup dates—Jan. 11 and Jan. 18—in Hellertown and select sections of Lower Saucon Township.
The cost to have a tree picked up is $5 ($4 for senior citizens), and proceeds will benefit scouts who plan to attend summer camp.
