'Mistletoe Marketplace' at SVES Will Benefit Cancer Society

Relay for Life of Saucon Valley's "Mistletoe Marketplace" Dec. 7 at Saucon Valley Elementary School will be an opportunity for local residents to shop for the holidays and support a good cause—the American Cancer Society.

According to an event flyer, the marketplace—which will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.—will feature gift basket raffles, a "Mistletoe Cafe," a children's holiday gift shop, personalized Christmas stockings and hats, kids' crafts, poinsettias and wreaths, a life-size Candyland game, baked goods, photos with Santa (from 1 to 3 p.m.), optional gift-wrapping and luminaria kits.

A "Grandma's Attic" section will feature new and gently used holiday decorations and other items "suitable for gift giving," according to the flyer.

Some of the vendors on hand will be Tastefully Simple, Mary Kay, Stampin Up and Longaberger. Other vendors will be selling handmade Christmas cards, stocking stuffers, and handmade crafts, candles and jewelry.
