The website Keep PA Beautiful has published a list of illegal dump sites throughout Pennsylvania, and on it are six sites in Lower Saucon Township.

The Illegal Dump Survey's 2013 Final Report for Northampton County lists the following sites in the township, which has the second highest number of illegal dump sites in Northampton County (after the City of Bethlehem, which was deemed to have seven):

Countryside Lane (Active)
Crestline Drive (Active)
Helms Road (Inactive)
Old Philadelphia Pike (Active)
Redington Road (Inactive)
Riverside Drive (Inactive)

In addition to the locations of the dump sites, a chart contained in the report lists the total estimated amount of waste deposited at each one, as well as whether or not they are still active.

The Lower Saucon site with the highest estimated amount of discarded refuse is the Redington Road site, which has 2.5 tons of garbage, according to the chart.

The chart also details whether or not the sites are located near waterways and characterizes their terrain.

All of the Lower Saucon dump sites, with the exception of the one on Old Philadelphia Pike, are located in the rural eastern part of the township.
