Saucon Valley Woman's Club Meeting

Meetings are the third Tuesday of each month. The purpoe of the club is to unite the influence and interestes of women to promote governmental, civic, educational, and social measures in our community , our state, our nation and around the globe. The club is a non-porfit organization. Fund are raised through various efforts including our Annual Bingo and sale of beer bread and bean soup mix at the Saucon Valley Farmers' Market and other events. Funds are used to support ervices offered to our community including the local volunteer fire companies; Leithsville, Dewey, Se-Wy-Co, Steel City and Southeastern, the Hellertown Area Library and Saucon Valley Food Bank. We also provide scholarships for high school seniors and continuing education adults. Achievement Awards are given to vocational-technical school students. We raise funds for the American Cancer Society and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure (breast cancer). This is a sampling of causes and services that we have supported in recent years.

Membership offers opportunity fro community service, life long learning and friendship.
