A Furry Tail Come True Collecting Holiday Donations for Pets

A Saucon Valley business is doing its part to help make the holidays brighter for pets in need. Anyone who wants to help can donate one of the requested items at A Furry Tail Come True in Hellertown through Jan. 1.

A Saucon Valley business is doing its part to help make the holidays brighter for pets in need.

A Furry Tail Come True Doggie Daycare, located at 26 Main St., Hellertown, has announced that it is accepting holiday donations for The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, a no-kill animal shelter in Williams Township.

The collection is part of a holiday fundraiser called Paw Pals, A Furry Tail owner Jessica Schwickrath explained in an email.

Donations can be dropped off in the doggie daycare center's lobby, Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. until Jan. 1.

The center's wish list includes the following items: blankets, sheets and towels (new or used), laundry detergent, bleach, dish detergent, paper towels, cat litter, cat food (wet and dry), dog food with no artificial color (wet and dry), collars and leashes (new or used), Kong toys and small litter boxes.
