FREE YOGA CLASSES FOR VETERANS 

If
you are experiencing any or all of the following:

·  Re-experiencing traumatic events

·  Avoiding activities, places, thoughts, or feelings of
the trauma

·  Increasing anxiety and emotional arousal

·  Inability to sleep or stay asleep, avoiding large
crowds, irrational anger, irritability, guilt, shame, self-blame, depression,

mistrust, alienation, loneliness, physical aches and pains

·  Difficulty re-integrating to civilian life.


Then yoga could help you in your efforts to regain
control of your life and successfully re-integrate into civilian life. The
Department of Defense (DOD) and the Veterans Administration (VA) both recognize
the benefits of yoga and meditation for returning war veterans.


This is a gentle class, great for everyone!  Join fellow veterans for a

gentle restorative yoga class led by a combat veteran and certified yoga

instructor.  

Practice yoga to form a connection between your
mind and physical body through your breath and movement.  No experience necessary



·      Who: Classes are open
to all veterans, as well as a spouse or significant other.


·      When: Tuesday Evenings 6:30 – 7:30 PM, beginning February 11, 2014


·      Where: American

Legion Post, 935 Main Street (Route 412), Hellertown, PA parking is available on Route 412 and side streets


·      What: Wear comfortable loose fitting clothing. Mats
are provided

·      Registration is not
required. 


·      Instructor is a
Combat Veteran and trained specifically to teach yoga to veterans
