Author Karen Samuels to give talk on her Legendary Locals of Bethlehem book

3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lower Saucon Township

The public is invited to meet the author, Karen M. Samuels, an award winning columnist and author of several books on Bethlehem history. She will present the stories of lesser known legends such as Arthur and Edith Aykroyd, founders of Aykroyd Hardware, Lucy Walter, a nurse for sixty years to the ill of Bethlehem, Allen Woodring, the only Olympic gold metal winner from Bethlehem, and Gustav Adolph Conradi, whose photographs documented Bethlehem history of the early 1900s.

The event is free and light refreshments will be served.
