Puerta, Inghrim, Miller and Dowling Win Saucon Valley School Board Seats

With 100 percent of precincts in Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township reporting vote totals, Republicans Ralph Puerta, Edward Inghrim and John Dowling and Democrat Sandra Miller have been elected to fill four open seats on the board.

With 100 percent of precincts in Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township reporting vote totals, Republicans Ralph Puerta (inc.), Edward Inghrim (inc.) and John Dowling and Democrat Sandra Miller (inc.) have been elected to fill the four open seats on the school board.

Puerta received 2,227 votes, Inghrim received 1,482 votes, Miller received 1,349 votes and Dowling received 1,325 votes, according to the vote totals published on the Northampton County website.

Challengers Russell Lebkuecher (R) received 1,297 votes, Jeanne Reilly (D) received 1,225 votes and Robert Phillips (D) received 1,113 votes.

Democrat Mark Sivak—who was running unopposed—was elected to a two-year term on the school board.
