Where to Expect Road Work This Week: Aug. 29 - Sept. 3
PennDOT has announced the following scheduled road work in the Saucon Valley area.
This week, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that the following road projects will be taking place in the local area:
- From Tuesday, Aug. 30 to Thursday, Sept. 1, PennDOT maintenance forces will perform shoulder work and widening along Raubsville Road/Easton Road between Route 611 in Williams Township and Cherry Lane in Hellertown. The work--which will be occurring in Williams, Lower Saucon Township and Hellertown--will be performed between 9am and 2pm, and lane restrictions with flagging will be in effect. Rain may delay the work.
- On Friday, Sept. 2, PennDOT maintenance crews will perform shoulder work/widening along Lower Saucon Road between Applebutter and Raubsville/Easton roads in Lower Saucon Township. Motorists should expect lane restrictions with flagging from 9am to 2pm. Rain could delay the road work.
