The Hellertown Planning Commission on Tuesday heard a proposal from a franchisee who wants to open a Papa John's pizza shop at 1236 Main St. Planners unanimously approved the application.

Lower Saucon Township Police say Daniel Gill, 26, of the 400 block of Cherokee Street, Bethlehem, drove after he was told not to, and refused to submit to a blood test after he was arrested for DUI.
