Expect Pothole Patching on Bingen, Black River Roads

Lower Saucon Township motorists can expect to encounter road work on several local thoroughfares this week.

Lower Saucon Township motorists can expect to encounter road work on Bingen, Black River and Flint Hill roads this week, according to PennDOT Engineering District 5-0.

On Black River Road, between Bingen Road and Route 378, PennDOT maintenance forces will be patching potholes on Monday, June 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Bingen Road, between Black River and Hickory Hill roads, the same type of work will be performed during those hours on Tuesday, June 11.

The pothole patching on Flint Hill Road is scheduled for Wednesday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., PennDOT said.

All of the road work could be affected by weather.

Motorists traveling on any of the above-named roads may encounter lane restrictions with flagging while the pothole patching is taking place.
