________

When and how did your business get started?

I was a guitar teacher at a local music store from 1996 to 2004. I didn't like the way the owner of that music store was treating his customers and my students, so after years of planning I decided to open my own music store and music instruction center. I opened my door in October 2004.

Why did you choose the town you did to open your business?

I grew up in Hellertown and had just moved back to Lower Saucon, and I knew that this area—which had never had a music store—needed one.

What is your business best known for?

We are best known for music lessons, instrument repairs, instrument rentals and retail.

What's something interesting about your business your customers might not know?

We have the best music instructors in the area. While other music stores and lesson studios have a high turnover of teachers coming and going, Saucon Valley Music has its core teachers still here after 10 years and counting. We treat our teachers as family and they love the fun and friendly atmosphere here.

Does your business offer a special deals card or program?

We give everyone a free first lesson to try out our teachers and to get acclimated with our programs.
