Saucon Valley Flu Information Center: Where to Go

In case you haven't heard, our area is experiencing one of its worst flu outbreaks in years.

In fact, the Allentown Diocese of the Catholic Church announced temporary modifications to masses this weekend that are a result of the flu outbreak.

Allentown Bishop John Barres announced that there will be:

• No drinking from a chalice during holy communion. 
• No physical contact during the sign of peace. (Instead of a handshake, parishioners may bow or nod to their fellow worshipers.)

These directives will remain in effect until the bishop withdraws them.
