Is Your Favorite Eatery Signed Up for S.V. Restaurant Week?

This year the second annual Saucon Valley Restaurant Week will be held in Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township from Sunday, July 21 to Saturday, July 27, and a preliminary list of participating dining establishments is now available from the Hellertown BBRP (Borough Business Revitalization Program).

So far, the following restaurants have agreed to take part in the week-long, BBRP-sponsored event:

Braveheart Highland Pub and Restaurant

Yianni's Taverna

Sagra Bistro

DiMaio's Family Restaurant

Ricardo's Original Tavern House

McDonald's of Hellertown

Hellertown Deli and Pita House

Bella's Ristorante

Cafe Erica

Mike's Kids Doggie Shop

Red Brick Grille (Revolutions at Saucon Valley)

All of the above-named participants took part in last year's Saucon Valley Restaurant Week, with the exception of Red Brick Grille—which hadn't opened yet—and Mike's Kids Doggie Shop.

According to Borough Business Coordinator Mary Himmelberger, other establishments can still sign up for the event before the second week of May, and local residents can encourage them to do so when they eat out at a Hellertown or Lower Saucon restaurant that isn't on the list.

Each restaurant that participates is expected to offer special menu options, and to donate a gift certificate for a drawing patrons will be able to enter each time they order a meal from a restaurant week menu.

The event's title sponsor this year will be Murray Motors of Hellertown, with additional sponsorship support coming from the Saucon Valley Farmers' Market, Lafayette Ambassador Bank, IESI Bethlehem Landfill and The Morning Call.
