If you have a motorcyclist and movie lover on your shopping list and need a last minute gift, here are a few of my favorite motorcycle films.

World's Fastest Indian (2006) - Starring Anthony Hopkins and Diane Ladd

Description (from Wikipedia article): "The World's Fastest Indian is a 2005 New Zealand biographical film based on the Invercargill, New Zealand speed bike racer Burt Munro and his highly modified Indian Scout motorcycle. Munro set numerous land speed records for motorcycles with engines less than 1000 cc at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah in the late 1950s and into the 1960s."

Long Way Round (2004) - Starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman

Description (from Wikipedia article): "Long Way Round (LWR) is a documentary television series, DVD set and book documenting the 19,000-mile (31,000 km) journey of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman from London to New York on motorcycles. They travelled eastwards through Europe and Asia, flew to Alaska and continued by road from there to New York."

Long Way Down (2007) - Starring Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman

Description (from Wikipedia article): "Long Way Down is a television series, book and DVD documenting a motorcycle journey undertaken by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, on which they rode south through 18 countries from John o' Groats in Scotland to Cape Town in South Africa via Europe and Africa in 2007. It is a follow-up to the Long Way Round trip of 2004, when the pair rode east from London to New York via Eurasia and North America."
