Viewfinder: Maroon 5 Packs New Musikfest Venue

The first sellout in the history of the new Sands Steel Stage was also the largest crowd in the festival's 28-year history.

The internationally successful pop/rock band Maroon 5 performed a sold-out show at Musikfest's new Sands Steel Stage in South Bethlehem Saturday.

The band is known for its hit songs "Makes Me Wonder," "This Love," "She Will Be Loved," "Misery" and "Moves Like Jagger," among others.

For local residents interested in public transportation to Musikfest, this year LANTA is offering Walk 'N Ride bus service to the festival from the Creekside Marketplace shopping center in Lower Saucon and stops along Main Street in Hellertown, according to Musikfest's online transportation guide, "Getting to Musikfest 2011."

The service is available between 6am and 11:30pm at 20-minute intervals and is available with the purchase of a $3 unlimited daily ride pass (exact change required), according to the guide.

Riders who plan to utilize the service should refer to LANTA's Route F schedule at www.lantabus.com for additional service hours and information. Additional information is also available by calling 610-776-RIDE.
