Student Art Exhibit Will Open April 27

The 6th annual Student Artistry Exhibit featuring works by Saucon Valley middle and high school students will open April 27 at the Heller Homestead in Lower Saucon Township.

Works by Saucon Valley high school and middle school students will be displayed in a local gallery beginning later this month.

The Saucon Valley Conservancy has announced that the 6th annual Student Artistry Exhibit at the Heller Homestead will open with a public reception on Saturday, April 27.

The exhibit is coordinated with the Saucon Valley School District and is under the direction of the district's related arts teachers.

The homestead, which is located at 1890-92 Friedensville Road in Lower Saucon Township, will also host other special events that day in conjunction with Saucon Valley History Day.

The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, with a group photo of the young artists and welcoming remarks scheduled for noon.

Its run will conclude on Sunday, May 19.

The homestead gallery is normally open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. (Sundays, noon to 3 p.m., May through November).

Admission is free.

Members of the public are invited to attend both the opening reception and the exhibit itself.
