'Show Your Spirit Dance' Will Be A Spirit Weekend Highlight

If you're keeping tabs on what will be happening in Hellertown during the Family/Spirit Weekend being planned for Oct. 19-20—in conjunction with the 4-County Firemen's Parade and the annual Spirit Parade on Sunday—you can add one more item to your list: a "Show Your Spirit Dance" that will be held at Saucon Valley Community Center on Friday, Oct. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The family-friendly event will include a "Wear Your Panther Pride" contest, children's trivia, children's raffles, food and music provided by DJ Tony C. and Associates.

Tickets to the dance are $3 if purchased in advance, or $5 if purchased at the door.

Children at the dance must be accompanied by an adult.

• Motorcycle Poker Run, Saturday, Oct. 19, registration at 9 a.m., kickstands up at 10 a.m.

• Vera Bradley/Coach Bingo, Saturday, Oct. 19, doors open at 11:30 a.m., bingo starts at 1 p.m.

• Allentown Band Concert, Dimmick Park, Saturday, Oct. 19, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
