Get Out: Feel the Heat, Feel the Beat

Check out what's going on in the Lehigh Valley this weekend!

The first week of June is already here, bringing with it First Friday festivities on Bethlehem's South Side. Don’t miss the BBQ celebration and, afterwards, take a short walk to Godfrey Daniels for some jazz. If show tunes are more your thing, the Gay Men’s Chorus of the Lehigh Valley will be performing an extravaganza tribute to Oz.

For some family fun, try Spring Fest in Coopersburg to benefit the Lower Milford Elementary School PTA. Speaking of PTA, the end of the school year is coming and it could be a perfect time to attend a stress management workshop so you can relax this summer.

This Saturday, feel the heat at the Hunt for History at the Moravian Museum and, while you’re in Historic Bethlehem, hop on over to the Annual Rooms with a View Tour. Then, skip on over to the South Side for the BAPL Street Fest.

Finally, on Sunday the PA Youth Theatre will showcase their student and faculty dancers at Moravian College. For a relaxing afternoon, attend , where you will have the opportunity to sample some of the Valley’s best cuisine.

As your summer kicks off and the heat turns up, there nothing hotter than being in the Valley.
