Grammy Nominated Artist to Perform at BAPL

National recording artist, singer and songwriter Ray Owen will give two performances of Hats Off to America, a musical adventure with a crew of colorful characters that step out of history and onto the stage at the Bethlehem Area Public Library on Tuesday, June 26. The South Side Branch, 400 Webster Street, is the location of the first award-winning performance at 4 p.m. Owen entertains at 7 p.m. at the Main Library, 11 W. Church Street.

Ray Owen has performed with Garth Brooks, Joan Jett, Willie Nelson and other legendary entertainers. His latest album was selected for a Grammy nomination.  Owen combines music and humor to captivate audiences of all ages.

The family program is free. The concert is underwritten by a grant from Northampton Community College and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Registration is not required at the Main Library, but families must show a BAPL card with the Access PA sticker. Phone 610 867-3761 x499 for more information.
