Apple Festival Set for Oct. 5

The Lower Saucon Township Historical Society will host its annual Apple Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Lutz-Franklin Schoolhouse.

The Lower Saucon Township Historical Society will sponsor its annual Apple Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Lutz-Franklin Schoolhouse, 4216 Countryside Lane, Hellertown.

The outdoor event will feature many fun, family-friendly activities, such as:

  • Birdhouse-building 
  • Visits with Johnny Appleseed
  • Stories by the Hellertown Area Library
  • Apple tastings
  • Crafts
  • Games
  • Live music by The Dave Mell Duo and John Samuels 
Refreshments will be available, including hot dogs, drinks and assorted baked goods.

The restored Lutz-Franklin Schoolhouse Museum will also be open to visitors.

Admission to the festival is free.
