Winter Storm to Hit Saucon Valley Friday
A winter storm will make Friday messy in eastern Pennsylvania, but the worst of it is forecast to hit New England.
The National Weather Service says a winter storm will bring snow, sleet and rain to the Hellertown area Friday into early Saturday morning, and a Winter Storm Watch for 4 to 10 inches of snow remains in effect.
The worst impact from the storm will be felt in New England, where a nor'easter-type storm could bring blizzard conditions and feet of snow to some areas.
In the Lehigh Valley, the NWS is predicting snowfall that will be measured in inches.

WFMZ is predicting 3 to 6 inches of snow for the Lehigh Valley.
Snow should develop Friday morning, then mix with or change to sleet and rain, before changing back to all snow.

The snow could be heavy at times later Friday afternoon and Friday night, the Weather Service says.
The storm is predicted to exit the area early Saturday morning, with clearing skies and a high of 33 to follow.
