[Updated] Tan and White Puppy Found on First Avenue

Prior to being captured, the puppy was seen in various other locations around Hellertown.

Update: As of Thursday evening the puppy has been reunited with his owner.

A stray puppy was found Thursday at about 11:40 a.m., the Borough of Hellertown has announced.  

The tan and white dog is a neutered male of an unknown breed.

Although he was found at 1123 First Ave., he was previously sighted in various places around Hellertown, "so he has been wandering," borough staff said.

Anyone with information about the dog's ownership should call the borough at 610-838-7041 or police at 610-838-7040.
